Tunde Kelani is currently serving as a member of the jury for the Muhr Asia/Africa Awards section of the ninth edition of the Dubai International Film Festival. Other members of the jury are Chang-dong Lee (president), Azize Tan, Kerry Fox, and Fatemeh Motamed-Arla.

The films in the Muhr Asia/Africa Awards lineup include Thy Womb (Brillante Mendoza), Three Sisters(Wang Bings), Inside (Zeki Demirkubutz), The Great Kilapi (Zeze Gomboa), Today (Alain Gomis), and The Great North Korean Picture Show (James Leong and Lynn).
