The death of Lagata, the military usurper of the Jogbo throne, sets off a nervous search of a credible Onijogbo. Hopes are high that Arese, a very young man, if elected will bring back the golden age of Jogbo.

Adebosipo’s resolve to serve the people and his refusal to loot the treasury set him on a collision course with the powerful chiefs who are bent on bringing down his rule.
