WELCOME TO MAINFRAME OPOMULERO
Nigerian Movies from Mainframe Film and TV
Mainframe Film & Television Productions is an outfit formed to document Nigeria's rich culture by producing high quality motion pictures which promote our rich cultural heritage and moral values both within the country and the outside world at large.Mainframe is managed by internationally acclaimed film maker, Tunde Kelani, who brings decades of experience working on such 16mm feature films as: "Iya Ni Wura" and "Taxi Driver" to mention but a few and award-winning titles under the stables of Mainframe which have become favourites in Yoruba households across Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
With Arugba, a Nigerian movie produced in 2008, Mainframe initiated the Mobile Cinema Project to make films accessible to the masses by organizing free, open-air community screenings in 57 local government and development council areas of Lagos State, Nigeria. Mainframe looks to reinvent nollywood by deploying strategies that could tackle such industry challenges as piracy, low quality of production standards, as well as marketing and distribution linkages. These innovations will hopefully set the standard for the rest of Nollywood and propel Nigeria toward a new role on the world economic stage.
